EnScène’s partner, Affinitours, sponsored the “Molière and his theatrical company” fund-raising reception, which was held on the 31st of May in the Marigny theatre in Paris, with the participation of comedian Francis PERRIN, and which was aimed exclusively at gathering funds for the “Pas à Pas” association for autistic children.
When we think about autism, most of us remember the moving interpretation of Tom Cruise and Dustin Hoffman in the comedy-drama movie “Rain Man” in which Charlie, a young egoistic person, dreams of inheriting a fortune after his father’s death but ends up watching his autistic brother, Raymond, get all the inheritance.
At that point, Charlie abducts Raymond and they leave on a long journey to the other side of the country.
After eventually overcoming their mutual distrust towards each other, a very powerful connection develops between them and together they start planning a better tomorrow …
This movie delivers a sublime message: by uniting our forces, we become stronger and capable of overcoming any difficulties.
It is in this particular perspective that Affinitours built its concept, and naturally chose to contribute to this human adventure which was organized by sensitive artists who, once the red curtain falls, take part in a totally different struggle: the one of never giving up in life.
We wish to thank the Marigny theatre for its hospitality, the “EnScène” association and its president, Béatrix Guignot, for having the original idea of adapting Francis Perrin’s book Molière Chef de troupe into a stage play, Aymeric de Nadaillac for the production of the play, Francis Perrin and all the actors for their exquisite performances, Frédéric Morel for the costumes and, of course, the “Pas à Pas” association for its daily support towards autistic children and their parents, as well as all the members of the audience who came in such large numbers that we weren’t even able to get all of them a seat!
Affinitours being a humane and ethic enterprise, will affiliate itself as much as possible to people and associations that take concrete action to ensure that every person, no matter what their handicap is, will have basic human rights and in particular the right to lead a fully social and emotional existence throughout their whole life.

“Affinitours decided to financially contribute to this charitable night despite the fact that the site is not even open to the General Public yet, simply because we knew that the all the profits would be donated to an association for autistic children. The night was a real success for them and I hope that, in the future, we will have many other opportunities to participate in this generous act which corresponds to our general philosophy which is of reuniting people in their differences in order to create bonds based on the highlighted moments shared between them.
